Nightmare
I awoke in a cold sweat this morning. I had a dream in which I met a lady and her dog from our staffy classes. I was making a fuss of her dog when she asked me where Bacchus was and I suddenly remembered I'd left him tied up outside the shops in a rough area and forgotten. I was in a real panic in case someone had taken him for whatever purpose. Can't imagine how I'd feel if something happened to my sweet pea ( he likes to be called sweet pea when getting his cuddles first thing). He's become such a part of our lives in the 5 mths we've had him. We live in a nice area, but even so I'm paranoid about leaving him unattended.
So glad it was just a dream.

Re: Nightmare
I hate dreams like that. I had one once that Logan was stolen from my back garden and since then I won't let him out without standing at the door.

Doesn't bear thinking about does it. Fortunately we have a secure garden with a 6ft wooden fence round it so no-one can even see him.

I put a big fence around my garden thinking it would stop kids getting in and out of the garden (BIG problem where I live). However, I looked out the other evening and they were standing in my back garden. I'm heart afraid of letting Logan out because N. Ireland in general is bad for dog fighting.

They have an ability to get so inside of you it's unbelievable , I can honestly say I would be 100000000000 % absolutely devastated , like inconsolable if something happened to 1 of my 2
