Biting and mouthing time frame
The last three weeks have been 95% pleasure and 5% pain ( well a little bit ) the endless biting is a challenge to say the least , she is only 9 weeks today and is doing really well overall but im wondering at what age should i see an improvement .
Im trying to do whatever socialization with her as i can and with my road being full of kids im very nervous of her nipping and hurting one of them .

Re: Biting and mouthing time frame
Hi tbh she is still young but she will get there if your worried about her nipping children I'd take a tasty treat with you, and when you think she's going to start nipping I'd try distracting her with the treat. When my pup was that age he was scared of most strangers, so he usually just said hello to them then back off he never tried to nip anyone other than me and my oh

Here is a link that will help.

As far as time goes they are all different. Suki stopped at around 6 months or shortly after teething.

Re: Biting and mouthing time frame
Try relaxing when the pups is around kids try him with older kids gradually inroducing to young kids in short spells and then for longer periods of time . The reason i say this as an older kid tends to be less excitable round a pup and are used to them whereas a younger child may not have seen a pup before and will be more excitable. It also helps when parents teach their kids how to be calm and generally behave round dogs.
