acting weired
hi all hope you can help me my dog tyson in the past week has been acting very strange in the house he follows me every where i go he trys to hide in the cupboards and wardrobes he is waking us up in the middle of the night trying to get between me and my husband which we have never aloud he sometimes shakes like he is scared of something his ears are up he is listerning to something we cant hear and he pants like mad he has never been like this before he is 10 years old he is fine when we take him out its just when he is in the house we have been here 18 months and its the first time he has been like this we have had him 5 years please help i need some sleep

Hi had there been any change in the house? This may have contributed to the dogs behaviour.

Hello! I think this is a vet job really, to ensure there's nothing neurological going on. Hope you get some answers! If he gets the all clear by the vet, we may be able to make some suggestions, but his health is definitely something that needs to be checked first.

yes does sound like a visit to your vet just to rule out any medical condition first,could any thing be spooking him out at night,any new neighbours banging around,some thing is definitely upsetting him,hope you get to the bottom of it

Think I would agree that a vet visit would be a good start if nothing else but to put your minds at rest.
If all clear with the vet then it could be that something has spooked him whilst you were out maybe in which case all you need do is give him some comfort and wait until he forgets what it was poor fella
