9 month pup won't eat
Hello everyone
We're having abit of a problem with hunter, he won't eat his dinner out of his bowl and this has been going on for about a week now, if we hand feed him on the other hand he'll eat no problem, aswel as treats. He's getting plenty of exercise so we can't see what's wrong with him.
My fiancé gave birth just over a week ago now and this is when it started to happen, could this be the cause? And how can we get him to eat?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Re: 9 month pup won't eat
It could indeed be a result of the new baby. It may sound mean but I'd leave the food down for 10 minutes and pick it back up. He should be getting multiple feedings daily and he won't let himself starve.

I have to do the same with Buddy - I don't have a new baby or anything just a fussy dog- if I pick the food up twice in a row you can guarantee on the third time he clears his plate...

Id cut out the treats and give food only for the moment the dog will be getting used to having the new baby around. Its a big change for them.

He's not had treats for a couple days now because of this, we feed him dry mixed food from tails.com and Winalot casserole wet food which he's always ate before iv had a change to turn around haha
