Interesting walk...
Got back to the car to find this...
Took me 30 minutes to get into my car!! Ended up sat on the side of the road watching them drag their hooves down my car/headbutt my wing mirrors and break them! Til a kind man came and helped to move them so that we could jump in the car!! Bug was terrified! Crawled all the way to the car bless her lol!

Oh poor bug! Can't believe those horses trashed your car. That would be fun explaining that to the insurance people!

Sorry but I'm giggling reading this. At least you've got proof as to what damaged the car!

Re: Interesting walk...
If it happens again, just walk at them waving your arms and they'll good. Or, if you need to pick Bug up again, wave her... ok, maybe not.

Re: Interesting walk...
I had some cheese left that I had been using as treats for Bug so I threw that in the opposite direction lol!! They didn't even blink and Bug looked horrified. I called Martyn too, who's advice was to "pick up Bug, put your head down and and run as fast as you can and jump in the car. Didn't take that advice either.. I'll try the arm waving

Seriously, Rach. Ponies won't hurt you unless you corner them and they feel trapped. They're prey/flight animals and will always run first and only fight if they feel there is no alternative. The problem in areas like yours is that are desensitised to humans so are braver and get curious. Flap your arms lots, jump up and down, do a dance, anything that's lots of movement should get them moving. Or if don't run away you'll be safe as they'll be on the floor clutching their sides

Re: Interesting walk...
But they're so big!! What does it mean when they stamp their feet/blow raspberries at you? They had a few foals with them and were really skittish.. But also just staring at me lol! I don't know why they liked my car so much! I assumed people had been feeding them as they were quite confident..

Re: Interesting walk...
I can't believe you were scared of em Rachel I'd have legged it
There must have been something about your car that they liked, did you have one of those police leaflets in the windscreen saying no valuables in the car ?... Perhaps they was checking it out or keeping it safe
