We are off camping on Friday for the weekend in the lake district, millie had an injury over 2 weeks ago now, on Saturday she fell funny on her leg and seems she's hurt her shoulder again Sad!, she's had a 20 min walk today and 10 min walk and is still slightly limping, i'm feeling for her best interest it would be better to not take her camping this weekend as we do a lot of walking whilst there. Do you agree i'm doing the right thing?, feel terrible taking my other dog but not her Sad

Do what you think is best for her kattie. Yes you might feel guilty leaving her behind but you'd feel even worse if she ended up lame for months on end Sad

Besides, there will be other times to enjoy camping Smile

I know Ian Sad it's just rubbish, but I will leave her behind as I do want to get her 100%, her walks are going to be reduced right down until Monday then I will see how she Is, I want her right as we are so active , my boy will probs love the quality time anyway Smile

It's better to let her rest than cause a potential long term injury by over working her while she's not 100%. Know you probably feel awful - but think of the long term!

Yeah for the last 2 days she's had couple of 10 min lead walks, gonna stick with that for a week then gradually increase, I think I may have done to much last week with her thinking it was great because she was better Sad, I will do it better this time and not bombard her all at once x

You may feel terrible but she'll thank you in the long run hun. It's the best decision. Don't want to put her through too much strain xx
