First Season for Miss Ruby!! bit of advice needed!!
Rubys just turned 9mths she is having her first season, we are on day 6 , since i first noticed some dark brown bleeding, its gotten more red now and a bit more dripping as time goes on, i was just wondering if anyone had any advice on how to help her ??? im not in the UK but in New Zealand and its winter here atm , but im tying her up when shes outside to go wee etc and bringing her back inside to go into her bed, im feeling sorry for her as i don't want her on the couch and shes definitely feeling sorry for herself, i feel mean not letting her up on the couch lol.

Just act normal and extra cuddles she knows there is something amiss just remember monitor her at all times and keep all gates and doors shut tight.

Aww bless her, it's all new and I guess all you can do is give her plenty of Love Debs.
I can't offer any useful advice as it's been a very very long time since I've had a dog that has seasons.

Get her season panties and then she can sit everywhere just remember to take them off when you take her out

Aww bless her. I got diapers for Katy but if you left her unattended they would be ripped off Lots of throws on everything, lots of cuddles & keep a very close eye on her as the last 2 weeks will be when she's interested in the boys

Libby our rescue staffy had a season with us , yes she was more unsettled and restless, I just put loads of towels on seats, and followed her around with a mop when she was really bleeding, it was quite hard work, and after the waiting period of 2/3 months , she has been to the vet and had her op. this went so well, she was bounding around the next day, didn't seem to notice anything had been done. I am so glad not to have that worry for her anymore
