Holiday.
I'm on leave from work after this weekend for 2 weeks and myself and Martyn are going to Prague for a long weekend!! My mum is house/Bug sitting from Friday afternoon to Tuesday early morning. It is the first time we have ever been away without Bug and the first time my mum has looked after her, though we had pitbull crosses growing up so she is used to bull breeds.
My mum is 100% comfortable with Bug in house, and knows the training that Bug has, but is understandably a bit nervous about walking her - she will need to walk her on Sat/Sun/Mon. I've given the option of walking Bug muzzled in the quietest local areas OR short early morning toilet lead walks and then just playing in the garden with her flirt pole/hose/toys etc to tire her out if she is concerned about walking her. (As some know, Bug can be fear aggressive to both humans and dogs). Any views on her skipping walks for a few days if needs be? Of course, it's not ideal, but it's extremely rare (Bug is walked daily without fail for between 1.5-4 hours) and preferable to my mum loosing control of Bug in public and them getting into trouble?

Re: Holiday.
The toys should tire her out and some mental games would also help. It's difficult when their exercise is cut but sometimes it can't be helped. I also think letting them rest a few days is good for their health as well. It allows time for minor injuries to heal up.

Re: Holiday.
As long as she can get outside for comfort breaks and has company I'm sure she will be absolutely fine Rachel. Have a great trip and don't worry about Bug, she'll be OK with your Mum
