This Evenings Walk

Me and The Wife took Flo over her BIG park this evening and whilst we walked down one of the grass hills someone shouted to us. It turned out to be a lady that works with my wife who was walking her Staff Terry.
He's a lovely young fella with a typical square head so quiet the handsome Staffy. Now my wife still isn't too confident with Flo around other Dogs let alone another Staffy so she had Flo tugging on her Stix while we chatted and Terry running around Flo sniffing her etc. Flo was so relaxed, no growl or hackles up so I suggested that my wife let Flo go play. She had so much fun running with Terry
Hopefully I've convinced my wife to call her friend and set up a joint walk to see how they go on lead at first but with a view to letting them both off if all goes well. It would be so nice for Flo to have a friend that's of a similar build to go running with.... Fingers crossed.

Hope it works out for you. My OH is hesitant with Suki around power breeds as well

i hope theres many more play dates. I love seeing my boy playing with other dogs, there's an old couple just around the corner from me & they have a 7yr old tan female staffordshire & Samba just loooooves running around with her. Its great to see two dogs enjoying each others company.

Aw! It's so great watching them play, especially with the same breed or a similar strength breed as we've found not many keep up and another Staff just seems to be on the same wave length! Fingers crossed for you

Missed an opportunity on Monday but as for a budding romance, well, perhaps Flo might be a Staffy cougar 
but I think she just enjoyed the company of another dog that didn't get scared at the full on bow and chase me thing that they do... Here's hoping
