Smelly breath
Zeus gets a raw bone once a week to help clean his teeth, I also put in a dental additive in his water a few times a week and use some teeth cleaning gel on his nashers... but, he still most of the time has very smelly breath.
What do you all use to combat this? Any tricks/ideas that can help?

Thanks, both. Still trying to figure out why his breath smells so much, might have to start flossing him

Re: Smelly breath
Check his teeth/gums he could have an infection when Ledgers breath went funky it was due to an old broken tooth that had started to rot

Apart from actual rot, what should I be looking out for? I noticed small parts of his gums are a little black but that's about it really
Ps. thanks for the other replies, I too give ACV to Zeus in his food and water

Re: Smelly breath
Ledgers broken tooth was turning brown in the middle which I only spotted when he yawned and got a face full of breath! the usual lift the lips check of teeth didn't show it! I then noticed he was tender when I tried to check his teeth closer
