Black and tan staffies undesirable?

Wish they would explain it properly when stating this. Only breeders find them undesirable cause the black and tan would end up the dominate colour. Pretty sure just leaving it at undesirable puts people off them. So end black and tanism please just my little morning moan. I know you all love Iza here just thought i would mention why that colour was classed as undesirable.

Clearly a typo, Iza. Black and tan is HIGHLY desirable.

It is odd though that Black and Tan have this label, is it due to the official breed standard

Something to do with the dominant gene and all staffs would end up black and tan down the line like other breeds.

Supposedly Black and Tan is a dominant gene, so if one parent is black and tan, all the puppies will be regardless of the colour of the other parent.

The mother of Rubio was black and tan and the father was pure black. From a litter of 10 pups 8 were black and tan and two were black. I just love it.

As far as we know he's all staff but since he's not registered there's no way of knowing and with all the mixed breeding in staffs I'm fairly sure there'll be something else back down the line. Anyone got any suggestions as to what?

Our friends have bulldogs, and the bulldog fraternity are absolute tri colour militants, with not a good word to say about the colour! To the point that the abuse some people are given for having one is horrendous!
Personally, I love tri colour dogs, I think its the eyebrows!!

It kind of reminds me of the way people are so against ginger hair. I got gingernut jokes through the winter and dumb blonde jokes during the summer when my hair lightened up.

I do believe they are worried about it wiping out all the other colours further down the line, but I like the colour too ! iza is very pretty !, yes it is just the kennel club they won't except them x
