House training help!
I've recently taken in a 7 month old staff from a negligent home, she's had no training, didn't even understand a simple command like sit. I need advice on house training her, she doesn't go to the toilet in the crate which is good but my problem is that she can be outside all day and waits to come back into the house so she can urinate which as you can understand is frustrating, my other dog diesel doesn't even go to the toilet in my house during the night which is fantastic. How can I teach her effectively and quickly to go do her business outside!

Re: House training help!
the key to house training is consistency take the dog out once an hour use a command such as do your business etc, once the dog does as asked high praise id also take the dog out an hour to half an hour after eating or sleeping. and also last thing at night. eventually the dog will get the idea. there is no quick fix but staffs are quick learners and should pick this up quickly. try a patch of grass rather than concrete if a dog has been there previously your dog will follow suit.
