No rottweilers no staffies

I came across this when filling out a form to have kaiser boarded. Safe to say they received an email telling them exactly how disgusting their attitude is and where to stick their services

Ridiculous!!

No rotties, no staffies, no money. Their loss.

Funnily enough, I've just found the same when trying to find boarding for my foster:

We have also find that whilst Staffis are lovely dogs and great with people, they are not so great in group situations with other dogs and for that reason it is our policy not to accept them here.

disgusting.as a lover of staffies and in honour of my boy I refuse to board with them or any boarder who can refuse a breed. disgraceful behaviour

I might have sent a bit of a sarcy reply, including photo's attached of our kennel staffies playing in a big group!

funniest thing is. in the email I got.the owner of the business claims its not discrimination as she owns a rottie? How does that even make sense, daft bint.

Crazy, we are not allowed to be racist but surely that is breedist (I know that's not a real word) but you know what I mean

Surely they should say the following as well:
"No Border terriers - they beat up the staffies"
"No Groups of chiuauas - they form packs and control the garden in a manner akin to a prison gang"
"No corgis/sheepdog breeds - they keep trying to herd the other dogs"
"No Salukis - don't play well with others"

Would it not be more apropriate and better business to state something more sensible like "Due to the nature of our business we only take dogs that have proven they are comfortable in a group setting - please provide video evidence so that we can confirm their suitability to be borded with our beasts of bodmin"

Maybe the RSPCA should be informed of this discrimination? Every major dog charity going says blame the deed not the breed. They're classing you as the same as the scum out there who mistreat these animals and say they don't discriminate? I sometimes stay in caravan sites and they don't say because you've got a Staffy you can't come. Some caravans might be non dog but not non breed.

apparantly because these breeds are stonger on lead? I said what about the likes of mastiffs, huskies,dobermans, great danes, alsations, GSD, the list goes on. these breeds are accepted. disgusting

Sorry, but that's total bs. Any heavy dog can be difficult to control on a lead.

Oddly enough a friend of ours is having the same problem here.

I may be way off the mark here, but it seems the issue is with un neutered males and not actually the breed itself, so they would accept females of the two breeds or entire males under the age stated? although it should really apply to all un neutered males regardless of breed.

That's the thing, a lack of consistency.

Sorry for my langauge but..T**ts have two staffy cross huskies so i can pick what i want to put on the form and husky cross would be fine... except im too proud... and my two are staffy cross husky, like it or loath it... pillocks I challenge any of them to a day in my life with the dogs...

Staffies are the best dogs ever!! Everyone says that they have a bad reputation,, I've been a staffy lover all ky life,, owned 2 staffs. I live with an 3 & half month old pup & got a stunning little staff at my dads. Whoevers this post is,, what are u doing on the site if ur just going to say no staffies?? It's a staffy forum!

Ive come across this when looking for dog friendly lodges, no rotties, no staffs, no bullmastiffs, or huskys.

Little Tyson, it was my post but not my company. if you had read the post I told her even though my dogs non of them, ive owned both breeds and wouldn not be using the site just wanted to share because i was so disgusted.

no offensive comments about,directed at other people and or their staffies will be not be tolerated on this forum littletyson if you can be civil and respectful to other people it would be very much appreciated thankyou
