Re: boomer balls
Best thing I have EVER bought Koda, seriously ! I'm all for them. He has it outdoors only, normally once or twice a week at the park, he goes CRAZY for it - barking at it, chases it madly until he runs out of steam then he nudges it around by licking it It truly has been a god send, I'd be lost without it. AND the ONLY toy he's not been able to destroy !!!

Re: boomer balls
Thanks for the advice. I bought Misty one on Friday and she loves it. I thought she might not be interested once she knew she couldn't bite it or pick it up but I was wrong. She spent a good half hour chasing it around the garden.

I'm pretty sure they were originally toys designed for lions and bears at the zoo...its a solid plastic ball. They come in different sizes and colours. Turns out they're the perfect toy for our fur babies too! Definitely recommend but keep it as an outside toy as they can be quite destructible when they're chucked about!
You can buy them from amazon....
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Company-of-Animals-Boomer-Ball/dp/B009FUCP3G/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1430899477&sr=8-6&keywords=boomer+balls
Check out the different sizes and prices mind!
Go on....treat your pooch

I got Nita one the other day and she enjoys it.. She can get a bit annoyed she can't pick it up however she has found that digging her teeth into it and making marks in the ball allow her to pick it up. Its great to watch them play with it
Re: boomer balls
unfortunately id love mia to play with one of these she wouldnt be interested she does take an odd fancy for a foam tenns ball tho

Re: boomer balls
I've been tempted for a while to buy one for Bane as I've heard such good things! But again not so sure if he would be interested!...although if he finds any big rock, he behaves how people above describe with a boomer ball so I might take the plunge

Re: boomer balls
Zeus has had one for a few years now and he's never been interested in it. Mainly because he can't bite it!
It is fairly hard though and I think he hurt his leg on it one day and has never gone to it since.
