Unfortunately the family don't live near by, to be fair I don't think it would be a good thing for the dog. How many miles should I be walking her everyday.?

I dont go by miles, but she should be having at least 2 hours a day split into either 2/3 sessions, with on and off lead exercise

Being 5 she should be getting at least 45 mins ideally twice a day or a combination thereof. Mileage isn't such a big thing it's getting the exercise so off lead ball play will count for a lot. To be fair my Flo doesn't do the mileage but certainly has a blast chasing Squirrels and her Stix and gets her workout that way

Hello and welcome from me and Pixee. Plenty of help and advice on here so if you stuck, just post the question. We dont do miles either, I offer 3 walks aday, they can be 45mins to a hour each, Pixee can sometimes refuse one walk if shes lazy in the mornings, which she often is, but theres plenty of off lead walking, ball play, tug of rope play. A tired dog is a happy dog
