Canine Degenerative Myelopathy
Has anybody experienced this disease ? Kaiser is being tested, we highly suspect he has it. online it says it will kill him very young. Would be great to hear of personal storiesfrom those who lived with this disease before we go into a panic though.

Haven't had any experience either, sorry! Were his parents health tested? It seems to have a genetic link, perhaps have a chat with the breeder if poss?

Re: Canine Degenerative Myelopathy
I know of a chap who has two stafffies and one of them has this disease. Poor thing has difficulty walking and takes really long strides with his back legs. Saying that though he's been going past our window for years with this dog who always looks happy even though it's struggling and my heart bleeds for it.
I do hope your test results come back normal - poor little fella
