Just like us the food will affect them in different ways theres plenty of options to suit every budget for your pooches if u have plans to change their food id do so gradually so not to upset their stomachs.

Re: Dog eating everything
That sounds like a good plan.
Crystal's got a good point about food. If you don't come up with anything else that helps it's probably worth a go. We've had fab results when we changed diets.

Re: Dog eating everything
The first question for many behavioural issues is, "Is your dog on Bakers?" As has been pointed out, that's the problem.
But seriously, Bakers is not food. It's produced by Nestle who also own Purina. Purina Beneful is the subject of a massive US lawsuit and is alleged to have killed thousands of dogs. One of its ingredients is a variant of anti-freeze. Purina have already payed out millions for selling toxic treats that have killed over 1000 dogs in the US. It's a scandal that crap like Bakers can be legally sold as dog food, it's nothing more than chemicals and toxins with a bunch of colouring and bulking agents, some of which have been proved to cause cancer and allergies. If the only thing that happens after feeding your dog Nestle products is that he's hyperactive then thank your lucky stars.

Re: Dog eating everything
I hadn't picked up the Beneful lawsuit - shocking reading. Dogface has put it more bluntly that I dared but I have to agree, Bakers is what I call floor sweepings. Just rubbish dressed up as dog food. I know some dogs appear to do ok on it but I'd say 3 things. a) dogs do have an amazing ability to eat all sorts of rubbish without appearing unwell, b) you don't actually know how the body is genuinely coping and whether you might not be storing up problems for later and c) you sometimes don't appreciate that something wasn't really all that great until you change.
