Re: two staffies fallen out
What's their background? Male/female? Age? Neutered/spayed? Always lived together? Any toys/food/people to squabble over when the fight broke out?

Re: two staffies fallen out
I'm sure that more experienced people will advise here, I would only say that I think Colin is right, one of them will need to be the top dog and they're both trying at the moment. Not sure how you get round this but I would say you should keep them apart until you get better advice. Letting them row will reinforce the aggression. Sorry.

Re: two staffies fallen out
Dogs don't hold grudges they live in the moment so when they do fight as soon as it's over it's forgotton.
Whatever it is it's something that happens every time they are together, maybe a vibe one of them is giving off, maybe too much eye contact. You need to watch their body language when together and stop it before it happens by seperating them or distracting them. Easier said than done I know. I personally wouldn't keep them apart for too long, i'd take them for a walk together on lead and address the problems as they arise and work out who is instigating it. It could be that one of them is nervous or tense and that creates the problem as the other dog will feeds off of it. Watch their body language closely when walking them, keep them on lead and watch for signs that a fight may start, I bet one of them is starting it but the body language is so slight you wouldn't necessarily notice unless you were looking carefully i.e. ears up and forward or a lot of eye contact.
Good luck!

Re: two staffies fallen out
They are both teenagers too, so a testosterone rush could be contributing.
Some good advice above.
let us know how you get on.

I'd say it's time to call in an expert. We can only guess and, although it might be teenage hormones, it might be something completely different. It's worth the money to find a good behaviourist to come to your home. Where are you? someone here might have a suggestion. Otherwise, vets often know who's who, otherwise the APBT and APBC are a good place to look:

Many good trainers are members of both. In the meantime, as Debs says I'd walk them together and maybe have them in the home together with harnesses and leads on when you are there and have time to sit quietly with them, but keep them separate when you are out or busy.

I would try an adaptil or pet remedy plug in and spray to try and calm the situation down at home it works for me , my dog s have had several full blown fights where they have locked on If they are funny growling at each other then it's an indication it's going to happen. I was told by a dog handler to eliminate any causes for argument. It's awful situation to be in. I only got bitten at the birthday party last Sunday accidentlyn trying to split them up. The little one goes for my big one and the little one ends up worse off. I would one ever stuck to a boy and girl in future do to my experiences! My poor girl doesn't like the drama
