Line out neeeded

Anyone in derbyshire fancy getting up early on sat and and sun 21st 22nd Feb to line my guys out on the start line? we have a two day race which i will be camping out on..brr can feel the cold now. basicaly i need someone to hold the dogs on the start line and then move clear when we are given the off. will need to be strong and give good orders. please beer in mind they are working dogs and can pull like hell but would just love a staffy bull terrier owner owner as a line out runner. will need to take on these nutters https://youtu.be/hLOs0Pnsv_A

most likley get lost again lol. Think i have a volunteer lined up from a local canix group who is running that day. it really does make all the difference on a start. nerves are bad enough withought them tangling themselves into a giant knot seconds from starting.

And Ian we have a race at checkendon in march near reading. is that close to you at all? one of the last ones of the season down south i think we will be doing is the firle challange http://firle-challenge.co.uk/ night and morning race with more friendly start times. think that is a mass start which will be intresting...

When in March Nath ?... I'm away at the beginning so it's a possibility if it's later in the month

Both races are at the end of march, have a derbyshire one to fit in somewhere as well but think thats easter weekend. would be really good if you could make it as checkendon is a single dog race which i will be running marley solo on for the first time. would be good to have a freindly face around for moral support

you can mate, there are alot of staffies taking part and doing really well. race distance is usually 5k which is nothing for a staff. all you need is a bike, race harness and lines which you could probably do for under 70 quid on a budget. the dogs love it, we have dobes, german short haired pointers, spaniels, staffies, staffy crosses doing it in the group. the dogs absolutley love it giving them a chance to stretch there legs. if your intrested try find a local bikejor or canix group

have tent, have dogs, have lots of night runs in the forest of dean in the comming year... you can be my right hand girl anyday leading the dogs out hun. thinking of camping over out of season to get a feel for the place. its been dubbed the training ground of champions out there, current European Champ Mark Mazzucca racing there. you should see him go its bloody insane with 40 + mph runs with a solo dog

Can you do it with one dog or in pairs? I'm sure pups will love it I would like to give it a try as well
