I read somewhere that a childs onesie with the legs cut off is great to stop dogs getting at belly stitches after spaying.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself!! rolling on the floor

Great idea with the kids onesie will be useful for new members of the forum who are going through the same thing. Also gave me an excuse for another look.

When it comes to using it properly (not just my entertainment!) I will remove the hood and put it on backwards (zip on her back) with an area cut out for wee wees!!

Her wee face if it helps where her stitches are perhaps on the fleece you could cover the fleece with something as it may catch and pull the stitches out.

Ooh, hadn't thought of that. The belly area is quite loose, and flat inside (it's a cheap one, matalan outlet!!!) But I will look out for that! Thanks!

Ian, I would have let you do the post op week, but I would want her back without a fight, so sorry mate!!
