More Tum Problems
Hi folks ---- Ruby has for the last 4 years had a diet of reduced portion of Arden Grange topped up with mince or pilchards. When she gets a bad tum I give her chicken or white fish & rice & that clears it up. Recently though when she goes back on the normal diet the problem starts again & it's back to square one.
Is it better to stick with the chicken/fish/rice or try to get her back onto the normal diet but over a longer period?

Re: More Tum Problems
I would try introducing back over a longer period just to see if that works. If that doesn't work then it could be that the diet doesn't suit anymore and could be worth changing. Might also be worth having a word with the vet just to rule out anything else.

Thanks Ian. The other factor is that I have to keep a close watch on her when we are out because she will eat anything dirty & that won't do her much good.

Re: More Tum Problems
It's me again. It seems to be 2 steps forward & 1 back. Rice & chicken or fish does the trick & then gradually re introduce Arden Grange works fine for perhaps a week, then back to square one.
Any recommendations for a 6 year old with a sensitive tum please?

Re: More Tum Problems
Is the normal diet lamb? Might be it - Bug finds it hard to tolerate lamb too. Perhaps try fish4dogs or JWB ocean fish if she's okay with that.

Re: More Tum Problems
Yes the Arden Grange is the lamb & rice one. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give them a try.
