can you take your dogs to work?
I am actually sitting in the office with Mambo now (it is just two of us tho). he's still not used to staying home alone for longer than an hour, so he'll be here with me today for a while and tomorrow all afternoon. I asked my bosses and they said is fine, especially that another member of staff brought his labrador few times already without asking
can you take your dogs to work at all? I only asked if I can bring Mambo, because my colleague brought his dog before, I wouldn't even consider that! I guess I'm lucky... But I still feel a bit uncomfortable, I met two people from other offices in the corridor, and I'm not sure if they would be ok with the dog, but oh well, he's not in their office, is he?

Re: can you take your dogs to work?
I work 3 mornings a week & I take Dempsey with me. It was a little touchy at first because I work as a parish secretary & my office is only acceptable from the church, so I have to walk through the church to get there.
Most people are fine about it, although there were (and occasionally still are) raised eyebrows at a dog walking through church! There's only been one actual complaint, but my boss (the priest) smoothed it over & said that my dog is protection for me as I'm alone for 90% of the time I'm there and I have to handle money, silver chalices etc & the church is open all day.
Dempsey's made quite a few new friends & sometimes gets to play with my boss's dog, a GSD called Pneuma. They're nearly the same age & have grown up together.

I don't but one of the strangest thing's I've ever seen was a roof tiler who had a rottweiler that would climb up the ladder and hang around on the roof with the tiler!!

my hubby sometimes takes Ty 2 work with him (he's a brick layer) and builder. Ty is good as gold and either sits in the van with the door open or just sits my hubby. Kaos on the other hand...... put it this way, he wont be going again lol x

I have taken Tilly to my work place twice but never while I was working.Don't think I'd be allowed while I was on shift.

I have to during Bonfire week, I work at a Railway station and Benson just lay behind the Train Announcer all shift, I took his Crate with his bed in it and left the door open, but he never used it....

I took my JRT to work once when he was still a little pup, (I took his bed, toys, food and he chilled in my stockroom at my old work place) but now I'm a care assistant, there's no way I could take either Mylo or Poppy, shame.

I used to run a social club so yes everyday, now I'm at a Gallery and I'm not too sure it would be a good idea
