my dogs biggest enemy
I was wondering what animal or object gets your dogs distracted or upset the most. Suki does her best to chase every bird she sees but her biggest enemy is by far the vacum cleaner. If I even open the closet where we keep the vacum she will immediately start to bark and try to attack the vaccum. At first I tried to get her used to it in small stages. I have since given up and figure that it is just one of those things so when we clean one of us will take her for a walk and the other will vaccum the floor.

Dempsey doesn't like the vacuum cleaner, but his real enemy is the hose pipe! He would rip it to shreds if he could!

Vinnie loves to sit and watch my rabbit and follow her up and down her cage .. He hates the vaccume and goes mental at it, he chases birds and cats etc lol.
Skye is scared of the vaccume and jumps up me to get picked up when its out lol!, she don't really do much chasing she sits back and let's vinnie do it haha but she is only 14wks old so still time haha

Yep! Dempsey is scared of very little - he's the most bold and dominant dog I've ever had!
BUT, he cannot stand a skate board. If we go anywhere near someone on a skate board, Dempsey tucks his tail down & tries to head for home! Wimp!

Orange road work cones for Zero he hates them and would rather throw himself under a car than walk past one, he doesnt really bark but a orange cone finds his bark!
And Mazda's is swinging pub signs yep she's worse than Zero she starts snarling, growling the lot its quite funny cos u see people looking at her like wtf's wrong with her
I had great fun last week walking past a pup that had a sign and cones round the pipes that they were digging up everyone thought I had 2 raging loonies on leads!! (I wanted the ground to swallow me )
Mazda also like Dempsey needs to kill a hose and also a hoover means putting her in the garden, Zero wont even move if u nudge him with it!! lol

I should add that Suki also seems to be afraid of the ocean.

Muggle is terrified of the fan over the oven. Her greatest enemy is the vet. She visited today, walked into the consultation room and promptly wee'd all over his floor!

Re: my dogs biggest enemy
Am afraid av gotta tarnish Inca's fantastic reputation here by telling you her big enemy is a stationary motor bike.. but not the piddly little scooter thing's... Oohh no it's the massive big beast's like Yamaha or Kawasaki things !!!
If one is parked up and we need to walk past it, we get to a certain distance and then the heckles go up on her back and she walks like her legs have got rigamortise and go all rigid and tries to make herself just that little bit bigger than she really is .. !! Then comes the 'not to sure' bark, with a snort an a huff !!!! Quite funny to see really ...

Certainly does! Not your typical staffie name perhaps but fitting nonetheless!

Roxy hates SIRENS. Even if she hears a police / ambulance / fire siren in the far distance or even on TV she goes nuts

Re: my dogs biggest enemy
The hose pipe and yard brush are enemies which they can defend themselves against. But the mop and the vacuum cleaner are too terrifying for words!

Re: my dogs biggest enemy
It sounds awfull but she is so quick, I hear a rustling and she then she'll bring it back very proud. No blood or anything just the squirrel. I don't have time to scream, I was with my mum not so long back, she had got one and my mum screamed so she let go, unfortunatly the squirrel wasn't dead and bit Moo and limped off. I felt so bad cause it would die eventually. Its not nice, certainly nothing I encourage but she is so dam fast.

Re: my dogs biggest enemy
When we had snow winter just gone some one had made a giant snow ball in the park and Ty point blank refused to go any were near it was quite funny watching him try to run from it whilst on the ice lmao. He also doesnt like the hoover when it first comes out he will hide behind me but after a while my mum will hold the nozzle of the hoover in the air and he starts to attack it it is funny to see.
