Our biggest achievement yet!
Today we let Chase out of his crate and he lasted until 2pm before we had to put him in time out for being mouthy and boisterous!
He was calm, had cuddles, played tug and even put himself to bed in his crate for a nap and shut the crate door behind him by himself!
By 2pm however he was acting like an over tired toddler and as soon as we put him in his crate he flopped on his bed and was snoring within minutes.
I think it helps that we now trust him enough to go into the back garden (field) and not go too far away.
He does like to bark at next doors chickens and send them scattering though, little sod!

Hey, that's the way to do it ! Yes, I’m talking about you Alison !
Realizing that Chase is making huge progress in very little time because of YOU !
And how nice to have spent a fair few hours in good Chase company. He might need regular naps, like a real youngster. Good for you to know. Nifty also gets grouchy when tired.
I think most dogs would bark after chicken who scatter in response
