Demodectic Mange
It turns out my new pooch has demodectic mange (all paws, below her ears, tail, rump and back of her neck and also severe otitis (in her ears) so she is now on
6x Advocate (1 per week)
2x Piriton a day
2x Kesium a day
Aurizon Ear drops once a day.
Fingers crossed this works for her, poor little bugger.

It's very unpleasant... At least Nita is on the right meds to get it sorted now

Well an update from visiting the vets today. Her ears are coming along fine, the vet could actually see down them and are clearing up nicely. She isn't biting and licking her paws as much however her back paws are quite red and swollen so ive got some little boots for her for when we go out.
Her coat is a lot shinier and not as dull which the vet was pleased with and there is some hair growth on her mange patches which is great.
Now have to get a urine sample as she has been drinking tons of water so just going to check all is good.
She also got plenty of attention from the girls at the vets which she lapped up. I think they want to take her home lol

Poor baby gld meds are helping, hope she continues to improve xx

Hope she recovers very soon We saw pics of our vet nurses pup who came in as a stray with mange! It's a horrible thing!
