Hi,

I'm just wondering do people do anything different in the colder months to keep their dog warm?

Sky has started to open two doors in the middle of the night to get under our duvet. She's never done that before so I'm thinking she may be cold.
she sleeps on our sofa with blankets.
I'd love to get her a cozy den bed but are all too small or expensive!
Also give her a hot water bottle with cover at bed time and when we leave for work?
She's not keen on clothes or jumpers.
any hints or tips?
Maybe a covered crate packed with blankets?

We don't mind her coming in our bed for the moment but not long term. But we want her to be warm.
heating comes on twice a day and that's it for half an hour a time.

Toots sleeps in her crate which is a cosy 'nest' packed with 3 duvets. She loves it and its lovely and warm.
The duvets are cheap to buy and easy to wash Smile

Yeah . I love her In bed with me but it's a bit of a squash! Think I will give her a spare duvet until pay day. Then buy her an indoor crate to cozy up!

Vinnie wont wear jumpers and such like either, but his crate is completely covered with a proper crate cover, so could go in thereif too cold.

My Flo just snuggles into her blanket on the sofa. Given half a chance she would be in my bed and pushing me out Laughing

At that time, maybe a quick trip outside and back to her bed with a treat will help; she is still a pupl ! I can recall doing this with Madge at that age.
