Winter Gym is Up!
I rigged up Monte's spring pole in the garage for the winter. I think he likes it more than outside! I even put some padding down as he has a habit of getting a little too into it. I will take pictures of him and video but he was having so much fun and I didn't have my camera with me so I'll get some video and pictures soon. I bet people walking by will wonder if I have some sort of torture going on inside as he makes all sorts of noise! Tired him out though and he had a blast.

Hahaha. Didn't notice. Yeah, the boys being boys. I think they were playing tug with a blanket or something. Non-stop fun here.

Lovely pics ... Montie is a very fine lookin fello
I might try something similar, being a climber I have loads of old climbing rope/carabina's etc ... I did do something similar off a tree outside in the summer but Max got board too quickly
I could do with something to get him working in the week through the winter as he can only really get long lead walks when I finish work in the dark, which means he's still full of energy all evening , I create all sorts of games for him (which includes running up and down the stairs a million times )

Re: Winter Gym is Up!
They do make a horrendous noise, don't they?
I used to rig one up for Bandit when he was a youngster & I got complaints from the neighbours cause they thought he was fighting! The local cop (he was also a drinking friend!) came round & I showed him what was happening - he thought it was great fun & set something up for his jack russel!

Great pics. I think sling poles are a great way to distract and exercise them
