Milo and Agility Classes
Well after recovering from whatever it was that was bothering Milo we managed our first session at Agility. It's held in a secure field just outside of Leicester so really good - and really warm. Milo did ever so well - I was pleasantly surprised. He was a bit reluctant with the tunnel at first but after I crawled into the entrance & the instructor did the same the other end we managed to get him through with treats, such a laugh. When he couldn't find any scary monsters lurking in there he was fine and loved it. We did the 'A' frame and as soon as our backs were turned he'd run up it again lol. The jumps were easy peasy - the weaving poles were a bit more of a challenge but he did great. I was so proud. Everyone said how well he did and had he done it before. I can't wait for next week
My daughters coming with us next week so I'll be able to take some piccies to post. Knowing my luck he'll be totally different and not want to do any of it - but then, that's dogs

Well done Milo; Madge used to go to agility and really loved the A frame and the tunnel especially, but she gradually got fed up with it despite loads of encouragement and treats and used to just walk off the field mid-round and wait at the gate to go home !

Fantastic, Ledger struggles with the weaves the muscular frame isnt really built for the quick twisting but he makes up for it with the speed and drive between everything else

We're only doing it for fun - something to occupy his mind a bit. If he shows disinterest then we'll stop too.
