^^ i bet you can get this Heavy Duty Landscape Garden sheet from B&Q, what you want to do is put a layer of top soil on til it only need about 1" or bark, gravel whatever take your fancy it will stop weeds

you will still get weeds but because of this sheet they wont get a good roots and should be able to left them out without a problems of them coming back when you get on top of things a quick walk around the garden 2/3minsmins a day pulling any new shots dancing
