Doug Tug

Well, I bought this fabulous tug toy for Douglas. It is, a plaited, knotted rope, about 4 feet long. He has had more fun with this than with anything else. Unfortunately, predictably, this is the state it's now in....



and here's the reason why:

Was thinking of popping into a chandlers to see what they have on offer

This toy came from TKMaxx. They often have small toys, but not usually anything to give mega-jaws much of a workout. We lucked out with this one though. The toy is made of cotton. Most rope used at sea these days is synthetic (doesnt rot), so may not be so good for a dog. Besides, if you're looking for a rope as thick as this one, you'd need not a chandlers, but the Ministry of Defence! Suitable for a battleship.

It's odd that my Flo can rip expensive one to pieces very quickly but some of the really cheap ones seen to last a few days. They do love them though, don't they
