Shows for Doug
Happy wet Tuesday everyone
I'm struggling to find a Fun Day dog show in Central Scotland (or further depending where!) I can take Doug to. We went to one a few weeks ago in aid of Staffie Rescue Scotland and he loved it, even came 3rd in Best Rescue
I've looked through the Show section on here as well as "google" but I can't find anything
Do any of you lovely Staffy people know of anywhere?

You can always see when schools have fates, they sometimes have them, I dare not enter another, Moo came third in the round of the dog who hadn't won anything

Re: Shows for Doug
I know this says it's a horse show but apparently there will be a fun dog show too just check back on the website from time to time to see when it's finalised, I don't know if this place is anywhere near you though:
http://www.centralscotlandhorsetrials.co.uk/fun-dog-show.html
The dog show should be held in August according to the website

Re: Shows for Doug
I've tried to find fun dog shows too but never had much luck, always wanted to enter Diesel in one, only her mum had papers so she's not KC registered. Sadly Leroy isnt the bonniest or the smartness so dont think he'd get far :-(

Re: Shows for Doug
Thanks for the links everyone
I'm keeping an eye on the Central Horse show one as it seems to be in Edinburgh - not to far to travel
TillyMac - No lluck so far with any in/near Falkirk and the schools seem to stay away from dog shows which is a shame but I'll keep looking & keep you posted
Fun shows have lots of rounds that I'm sure Leroy would do fab in ie waggiest tail/best fany dress

Re: Shows for Doug
He could win first prize for playin dead, not on command like he just does it a lot lol
He took to the wee agility course at the pound like a duck to water with no real encouragement, i've tried it with quite a few a dogs up there with no success, so had real hope for doin agility with him when I adopted him but nearest place is Broxburn :-(
