To my eye, though it's difficult to be sure from the picture, he also looks a bit like Milo, whom you wrote about in a previous post on this forum. Poor Milo.

Something to do with the brindle, the white patches, and the wild, wicked expression. In Douglas's case, he also has a white splodge the exact shape of Australia on the back of his neck - complete apart from Tasmania.

I was very sad to read about these lovely dogs being destroyed in your account of Biscuit's journey. I'm sure Douglas could have borderline failed as well if someone felt like being a bit more strict - he was like a coiled spring after nine months at the rescue. But he just needed some indulgence and not to be boomeranged back in. Now, just like your Biscuit, this boy is a barrel of laughs.

Oh I can see that too, Milo was a big boy though, staffie/rotti/mastiff cross so had a longer coat than a stafford and was generally a bit more wobbly Big Grin

I love Douglas' markings, some of my favourite dogs have been brindle and white Smile

I'm so glad he's settled, must feel so much better for it!
