Hi from Glasgow!
Hi all!
I've grown up with staffies and can't get enough of their sweet natures and great smiles!
I've recently rescued a year old brindle named Sasha. It started out as a foster but we have just fallen in love! She is very friendly and loves to play not after much advice or anything at the moment, just wanted to say hey, share our story and offer help to anyone else who may need it!
Thanks,
Becca

Re: Hi from Glasgow!
Hi folks! What a warm welcome
Adopting Sasha was a great decision - I had fostered her from Scottish Staffy Rescue, and it was *supposed* to be a temporary home. She has been a pleasure to train - her last home didn't house train her, and the length of her nails were proof that she was rarely walked. Not so surprisingly, with regular walks and access to the garden, she is yet to have an accident in the house. It did take her a while to do the toilet while on a walk - she would be out for an hour, and come home to do a pee in the back garden! She's getting there now though, after a lot of praise in the park each time! Last week, I had taken her to meet the woman who was to be adopting her. When we approached her and her 3yr old bitch in the park, the bitch was very aggressive towards Sasha. She was better when they were walking, but when we stopped she would go for her again. I was also very unhappy with the weight of the bitch - she is on weight watchers at the vets - and the length of her nails would have rivalled Sasha's when we first got her. The possibility of her going to another home which wouldn't take care of her, and the fact that she may have not been snoring at our feet that night made us realise that we simply could not give her up! So, she is here to stay! When we told her, she celebrated with a huge fart, so we're sure she feels the same way
