Headcollar + Harness
I googled a few different ways and couldn't seem to find any sort of information on it so I figured I'd ask here, has anyone ever used a headcollar AND a harness combo for walking?
I know some use a double ended lead on the headcollar and the normal collar but has anyone or does anyone have any information on using a headcollar and a body harness with a double ended lead? It just seems like it would be more secure for a dog that is being taught not to pull.
Is it safe? Personal opinions? Any thoughts would be appreciated

I have but wasn't keen really! Not sure about safety but it looked uncomfortable. I bought a wide, padded collar instead

My old dog Pat used to pull like anything until I got her a sporn harness (ebay or amazon) they're pretty cheap and work well, now thats what I walk pru with and she has never pulled.

Re: Headcollar + Harness
We use a collar and harness all the time. We only keep the lead one one or the other though depending on the situation

Re: Headcollar + Harness
I hate to see any dog on just a head collar. They don't train a dog to walk they just restrict his pulling. Always have a collar or harness on and a double lead. That way you'll train him to walk and it's easy to switch to the head collar with just a flick of the wrist.
