Feeling a little bit lost Empty Feeling a little bit lost

Post by jshrew Sat Aug 30 2014, 21:38

Dropped Ledger off at the kennels earlier for his week away I know it should be reassuring that he was so excited to be there and pulled staff away into the kennel area but just feeling a little lost at home without him. Itll be better when I'm back at work all week (working extended night shifts til next Sat)

Seems the kennels have their hands full mind 8 Staffys in at the mo 2 of which are DA

It is a very strange feeling Jules, the house just feels empty.
At least you know he's fine at the kennels Big Grin

Its been tough so far, went for a 7 mile walk and thought it was a lovely route for the dog. Night shifts have started now tho so will be spending more time sleeping til Sunday (might call the kennels tomorrow and see how he is doing)

We have never left Rocky in kennels and I'm sure the flat would seem empty without him around. I'm sure he will be fine

Picked the boy up first thing they said he's been absolutely fine all week Smile he's had lots of cuddles (and a bath as he was kennel smelly) and has spent much of the day sleeping. Has gone crazy for his chuck it ball as had a week without it so suited me to just go for short ball chasing walks as my body has crashed after a week of only about 20hrs sleep so I've been confined to the sofa and tv catchup
