OMG in this house there is no "MAN FLU", hubby learned this a long time ago!!!!

Hope you feel better soon...we don't have girl flu here. Hollie and I aren't allowed to complain about being ill at all. But we do have man flu and little man flu and I certainly think little man flu is worse! Harrison lets the whole street know when he has little man flu!

Well, feeling bl*ody awful today. I'm prone to coughs (always have been) and I've started one.

The only thing that helps (recommended by my quack) is Solpadeine Max because it contains quite a high dose of Codeine, which is a cough suppressant (sp?) as well as a pain killer. I take 2 about an hour before bed & I get a decent night's sleep - otherwise I just stay up all night coughing.

Just taken 2 & they're starting to kick in, so if I seem a bit vacant, or get things wrong, That's my excuse (and I'm sticking to it!).

Thanks Vanessa - feeling like I'm at death's door at the moment, but I've just taken a couple of Solpadeines & I'm gonna get an early night.

I'm actually looking forward to going to bed cause I got a new mattress today. The old one had two dips where we lie on it & it was really uncomfortable. I've been meaning to get a new one for about 18 months, but just never got round to it!

Wonderful!

It has a 'pillow top' which means it's got a layer of softer padded material attached on the top of the ordinary mattress, so although the mattress is still pretty firm, it feels like you're all cosy & comfy - hard to describe, really.

A good night's sleep has helped, but I'm spaced out on Solpadeine now!
