Feeling better
So last night Abby had a bit of a poop explosion when I took her to toilet which obviously really freaked me out when you get the worst case scenarios going though your head. Was a bit pudding like during this morning so I put her on some boiled rice and a bit of kibble. She was drinking and eating normally along with playing and not having accidents we seem to be back to clockwork this evening.
Realised that this was probably my fault for giving her a stag bar and the nibbles she had of it must have been way too rich for her so will save those treats for when she's older. Anyway after a day of recuperating she was back to her mental self when we had visitors over lol

Re: Feeling better
It is rather scary when they are unwell like that, especially the first time it happens! Glad to hear it has settled and well done noticing that there was an issue and taking steps to fix it .. no doubt that helped to settle it so quickly
Just for future reference .... upset tums do well on boiled rice and chicken for a few days as it is bland. Also make sure you are worming regularly and that you introduce new foods slowly and one at a time - as you say, too much at once can upset a tum, and also introducing one new thing at a time will make it easier to tell if a particular food causes an issue for your little girl

Re: Feeling better
Thanks for the advice.
Can they have raw chicken or should it be baked/boiled fillets? TBH rice was the only thing I had to hand I didn't want to go to the supermarket in case she took a turn.
I was hoping it would clear itself up as she wasn't having uncontrollable bouts and was acting as normal otherwise she would have been straight to the vet. Going there tomorrow for her second jab so will mention it then anyway.

Aww bless bet that was worrying for you.
Their tummy's are sensitive at that age, do mention it to the vet whilst your there if you want to put your mind at rest

Re: Feeling better
Aww poor Abby! This happens to Gwen from time to time and its usually from too much peanut butter (shes very sensitive to it and can only have small amounts). Glad Abby is feeling better. The boiled chicken and rice definitely helps firm up their poops. Wouldn't hurt to mention it to the vet.

Generally raw chicken is fine to give, however boiled (not fried or baked) chicken is best when they have an upset tummy. Fried and baked chicken are too oily and can cause an upset tummy all by themselves
Chiquito had lots of upset tummy issues when he was younger - he has quite a sensitive tummy and new things, or too much of certain things, would often result in a soft or runny bottom. It has gotten better as he has gotten older, however I keep a pack of chicken mince or chicken breast in the freezer now just in case!
Talking with the vet on Monday is a good idea - never hurts to have a chat with them about anything that is/has been happening
