Flo's toes again
For the last year we've been able to manage Flo's rear paws by cleaning after every walk and using a spray to ease the itching. The last week or so I've noticed that they have become quiet swollen where she's obviously been nibbling at them at night. Last it became obvious that she was in quiet some discomfort and couldn't settle.
Today was Vet day ! I couldn't see any soreness but then again she doesn't take too kindly to me looking at her rear paws (front ones are fine) so it was up to the vet. Flo is quiet nervous at the vets after having major surgery there but the vet was so good with her. In the end she had a deep cleansing of her paws and is now on antibiotics & Steroids. The vet said we had done well to manage it for the past year without problems.
It's quiet fortunate that this flared up now as we are all away for the next week and it really wouldn't have been very nice for Flo on her holiday. At least now they should reduce in size and we are towards the end of summer and with luck we won't have any more problems till next spring.

They have already Saz. She's much brighter tonight. Just wish we could sort it once and for all but I think what we are doing is helping.

Aww good Daisy chews just one of her front paws , it's gets a bit red sometimes so I clean it with water and avc or water and neem though not sure it helps. I have some thornit powder, was thinking about trying that next x
