Being caught runny handed

I took pupsky to Hyde park and just before we turned inside she stopped for a poo next to a busy bus stop I was on phone but ready with a bag in my hand when I realised madam poo-bum had a big smelly liquid run . Totally unpickable. I felt horrible but could not pick it up and didn't have enough water to wash it so I walked away shamefully. a lady with her daughter and a cocker spaniel was running after me handing me the tiny used/dirty tissue and asked me to clean after my dog I told her that I'm really sorry and I always do but I can't pick up something so runny and that accident like this sometimes happen and asked her what would she do and she tried giving m the filthy tissue again I don't think she was as angry if she caught me selling crack to school kids! I just said I'm really sorry and walked away and wherever we went in the huge park there she was like a constant reminder of my crime. 
I agree that's my responsibility to clean after my dog but * happens..

Sorry but...  It really does happen!

You would except another dog owner to be more understanding and I'm sure it has to do with the staffy and irresponsible owner image .

I know it well . Moo had the runs one morning and I had tried to clear it up every time but she managed to go about 7 times in the space of a 10min walk to the park she did another splodge out side a ladies house - I had no bags and she was glaring - I used my sock

sometimes it is impossible, laska lays one big log each day and thats it while marley will clean his whole bowles out and poo two and three is usually liquid. not a chance of picking it up unless i suck it up in a straw.

 we've had a couple of similar experiences

I HATE people walking away and leaving their dogs mess, but in this situation of course it couldn't have been bagged up. As you say these things happen.

Oh dear... What the heck were you supposed to do. Thinks it's happened to most of us at one time or another.

Janey you are indeed angelic - using your sock ! The only thing I've thought of in the runny-poo situation is to grab a handful of grit, sand or garden soil and cover the poo. But there will be those who say at least uncovered it is visible. But, yes, it does happen to everyone, hope it didn't spoil your walk Lily.

Have had to deal with this on occasions, I always have a bottle of water with me though so would be able to wash it away.

Janey your sock   sometimes it cant be helpes mia dondone hers in the house i had to use a full roll of toilet roll but , she thought she was going to get a telling off i dnt care it wipes .
