Re: Puppy advice
At that age they don't have full control of their bladder so she is likely whinning to be taken out. How much exercise and training does she get? I also think the dry food might be making her extra hyper.

Also remember she is a pup so has lots of energy and as a breed they like to be around people. I also moved your topic to an area it will get more views.

Re: Puppy advice
As a general rule they should b walked 2-3 times per day for 5 minutes per month of age. So 25 minutes at a time for her 2 or 3 times per day. They are a very high energy breed and if not exercised right they tend to misbehave out of frustration. A poor food with numerous additives will also cause them to misbehave. It's like giving a ten year old child a ton of sugar and expecting him to sit still.
Here is a link to some quality foods.

If you change her diet do it gradually over a 5-7 day period to avoid upsetting her stomach

Re: Puppy advice
Why do you really need to know what breed she is? It's virtually impossible to tell what breed a staffy cross is mixed with as they tend to keep the staffy features in most situations with slight variations in height or facial features but generally they do look "staffy".
As for her behaviour, she's a puppy and she's excitable, it's normal behaviour and even now my 2 year old will charge about like a loon occasionally, we call it "zoomies" and it's part of their character.
Puppies will snap and run and get into all sorts of mischief at some point, enjoy it as they don't stay pups forever, it's part of their charm At 5 months you could take her to dog training classes which will help you control her but I think she probably needs more walks to get rid of her unused energy which will make things easier for you.

Re: Puppy advice
Bakers is not a very good quality food at all, kibble is OK but try to go for a better quality one, Rocky has Barking Heads Fat Dog Slim which is on the list of recommended foods and he is much calmer since being on it. James Welbeloved is also a good quality food which is easily available.
If you do decide to change foods do so over the course of a week - 10 days.
