grrrrrrrr rebellious puppy

Dear me ever since I got home he has been an ass!!!!
Constantly not doing as hes told, wouldnt come in from the garden and when I went to get him he barked at me and jumped around, and he just hid under my sons bed with a toy he wasnt ment to have and then went to bite the tissue I had in my hand, he has been sent to bed!!

I feel your pain. Pru is 5 months and she's acting up ALL the time at the moment. Barking at us when we tell her off or running away when we try to take things off her, really tests your patience!

Loki will be six months on the 23rd of august, he's a pain, he's been good today, and came back when I called and he was playing with other dogs, came in from the garden his own, and is now asleep on the bean bag, he was brilliant, just yesterday as soon as I got home him and my son started playing up! Punishment for leaving Ahaha!! To top it all off he did a great big poo in elis room.....

Glad I found this. Blue was 5 months yesterday. Until now he has been an (almost) perfect pup. We have attended training and socialisation classes twice a week since he was 12 weeks old. He has always done really well and been really focused on what we are doing. Last nights training was a nightmare. He is now in a class with older dogs (9 months +) he started off well but would not keep his attention on anything we were doing even the simple things that he has done so many times before. At home today he has destroyed the visions off the sofa, shredded both his beds, ripped plants out of the garden and escaped to a piece of the garden that I have building work going on in and would not come back. His recall is usually instant even off lead when out. I am hoping that it's just a blip. I am guessing that this is the start of the dreaded teenager. :-( love him so much but my god he has driven me insane the last couple of days!

Loki is now 6 months and yesterday he drove me mental!! He was so naughty, but today he's good as gold!! Crazy doggy

We start the puppy improvement course tonight. I wish I hadn't read this now!!!

You were right Freya. It was a new level for her and she was one of the best behaved. She still wants to meet everything with a face but other than that she's very good.

Yeah I felt like that yesterday. I'd been annoyed how loki had been, and then when I was out he was the only one doing as he was told!!

Off to training class in a bit. Armed with smelly sausages and cheese. Let's see if he turns his ears on and has charged his brain cell today. Lol x

Don't tell me teenage naughtiness starts so early? I feel like we have only just figured her out. Haha. She's 6 months, I hope we don't start going backwards soon too. Eek!

Update. Training went really well today (apart from trying to eat the cones instead of walking round them!) lots of off lead work with 6 other dogs around him and he listened and concentrated well. The ears were up and the face was wrinkled he was listening so hard. Phew. Let's hope it continues next time.

oooh great! THATS something Im NOT looking forward to! Id better enjoy Elsie being 9 weeks old before all that starts!

It must be something in the air - Milo was great on the green fetching his ball, running around (on long leash by the way) and having fun then suddenly started having a mad moment - you know - ears back tail between his legs, running like a mad thing then started leaping through the air at my hand or arm trying to grab it ! I had to rein him in - not easy - get him to sit and calm down a bit. Little bugger - it was scary....maybe I got him over excited  

Reading all above makes me feel better sapphire wiil be 8 month in two week and some days are hell. We are getting more gd days now
