Raw food whilst on holiday?
I'm still considering the raw food diet for Milo. I like the sound of the raw chicken carcasses, organs and bones etc from the butchers. The more I read the more it makes sense.
I was wondering though how do you manage it when you go away on holiday with your dog for two weeks or if you leave them in kennels??

I think kennels would be fine as you'd just give to food to the kennels, on holiday you could take some with you then I guess you may have to buy some extra bits from the supermarket while you were away

Haha you could always call to ask? Someone might have done it previously!
What I would do is put all the meat/bones into seperate meal packs and then they know exactly what to give each day.
As for holidays, obviously over a few days without a freezer might be difficult but how about an ice box? Or revert to supermarket shopping for a couple of days! Atleast you know you can always get the dog food brand you need

When we go on holiday I just bag up her meals in individual bags and freeze them. I'm sure kennels would be ok

I only give Bacchus the chicken carcasses/meaty bones etc for 2 meals a week. I feed Natural Instinct and am very fortunate inasmuch as his breeder ( Aunt Emma ) takes him for his hols and he lives indoors. I just supply his food and she keeps it in the freezer.
