He just looks so gangly like his body belongs to someone elses legs ahah!! I just had some policeman ask me how big he was gonna get makes me nervous, I think he was just being friendly cause he said he had a staffie.
I think loki looks weird at the moment because he is all legs so its hard to tell

Re: growth spirt
It took Lula ages to grow into her ears and her head looked big now it looks small. We are waiting for her head to catch up with the rest of her body. Staffs do go through some strange growing stages compared to other dogs

Re: growth spirt
Hmmm I wouldnt go down lower than two meals a day just because they can get twisted gut, barking heads is very good, its an all natural food hasnt got any rubbish in it, and the protein is actual chicken not from animal derivatives its a little more than wainwrights but its worth it, but as I said im switching loki to the raw diet.

Re: growth spirt
Shes on wainwrights puppy food which is meat looks a bit like mince i had kibble to this. But i have look at goin raw or just adding stuff to her food like sardines, tuna, bits of meat etc.Raw will prop be good for your dog mate as he sounded a little light if hes under 10kg at nearly 6 months do you have him on 3 meals a day and high protein food good meat source.

Re: growth spirt
I weighed him yesterday and he's 12.7kg aha must of read the scales wrong the time before, loki was really poorly so I make sure he's on 3 meals a day and his food is 27% protein I'm going down to my usual pet shop today to have a chat see what they have in stock!?

Re: growth spirt
That seems a bit better 12.6 kg at six months and yeah 3 meals good i am keeping mine on 3 till she 1 year old then dropping a meal.I am trying up her protein a bit more by looking at good stuff add to her food. But that does sound right for your dog and he will out more around 18 months onwards they start off leggy.
