hi people im new to this forum.

what is is my 8 year old staffy (woody) has been itching his back end for a few weeks now so i thought it could be worms so i nipped to my local store and got some worming tablets but they didnt seen to work. iv been looking through his fur and found what look like scabs at the base of his tale. (looks a lot like eczema) has anybody any idea what it could be and how to stop him from itching?

Apple cider's great, as Saz says you can add it to the food or even mix up an apple cider/water solution and spray directly onto the skin - but I think it's better taken through food. Sudocrem may also help with the itching.
