stopping over excited toy time
Hey just wondered as my girl is getting bad for it of u all had the same or know how to stop it.
So wen playing with toys for example the kong safestick she always wants to bite the bit ur holding which can be quite sore! Always had a slight problem with mouthing.

Suki is like that as well but only with me. She will also use her paws to try to get me to let go. I normally just move my hand to the other side of the toy.
You could try short bouts of play and give a stop command followed by a high value reward and just keep repeating the process until she gets it.

Yeah I practice 'leave' with Daisy when she gets too full on! Or a yelp lets her know she's hurt me

As above we reach for the other side or give a 'leave' command until they are calm.

Suki isn't so good with the leave command in the house with tug of war, espically if I am playing with her. My fault though since I didn't enforce it when she was a pup. I normally have a cut or bruise to show for it as well
