So far I've tried a doggy shampoo from Burt's bees . It cleaned her but didn't do much for the dog odor. I did a little online research and came across a shampoo bar called "Dermagic" . It also comes in a liquid but the bar seems it will last a long time. It's a peppermint & tea tree oil scent. After she dried completely the doggy odor was nearly gone . She smells good up close without an over powering perfume smell. I believe we found our shampoo. idea

We are lucky that our Flo doesn't do the dog odour thing very often so very rarely wash her but sounds like you've found something that works  Smile

Sounds like it smells nice! Honestly, regular brushing does help keep odor down.

Sometimes spraying an apple cider vinegar/water solution on the fur helps as well and makes them soft and shiny. So does rubbing coconut oil in and brushing it through Smile
