Flat feet/long toes
Has anyone had a pup that has long toes or flat splayed out feet? My pup is 6 months old and has flat feet in the front. Wondering if this is a problem with the breed, or will he grow out of it? And is there anything I can do, or be doing. I have only had him since 4 months old and they have always been like this. His mom had good feet, so did his moms, mom.

Do you have any photos of his feet that you could possibly share?

Re: Flat feet/long toes
The back feet look pretty good, the fronts are just so flat. I would not say he is not down on them, just flat. There is a side comparison with my 4 year old pitbull type dog, she has good feet, tight toes. His are just flat! I have only had him for 2.5months.

I'm no expert but they look fine to me, I wouldn't have noticed they're any different x

Re: Flat feet/long toes
I wouldn't worry too much. Toot's feet aren't tight yet either, think they will later.
Apparently walking on shingle is good for tightening the feet, plus road walking.
Don't think his look too bad
