Mekuti harness and cool bed
Going to try this for Toots. She's allowed 2 short walks a day but she pulls like a demented thing.
I have the Ezydog chest plate harness and using this she has now got soft tissue damage from the pulling.
Mekuti looks good. They also have a 2 day sale on cool beds so ordered on of those too.
She's costing me a fortune!
Will let you know if the harness works.

Re: Mekuti harness and cool bed
First short walk with new harness. Very impressed. it's a little tricky to use but with practice it will very good.
She didn't pull nearly as much and actually stopped to sniff the bushes rather than just charging along like she's on a mission! It look very comfortable with soft straps and a very nice soft double ended lead.
It's meant to make them walk in a balanced way, so that they are happier and less stressed on a lead.
More updates as we both get more used to it!

Re: Mekuti harness and cool bed
Using the harness for a week now and very happy with it.
For most of the walk she is trotting happily along with no tension on the lead.
It teaches them to walk independently and balanced. With the chestplate harness she just pulled and leaned into it.
Of course things change when she sees a dog and wants to run up and play
The cool bed is here but she tried to eat it so that will have to be on hold for a while

Re: Mekuti harness and cool bed
Pleased to read the harness is working well, sorry about the cool bed, maybe try some bitter apple spray on it to stop her trying to chew it ?

Re: Mekuti harness and cool bed
I use an Ezydog Harness at the moment and altho Milo's fine in it I like to ring the changes so to speak & fancy a SPORN No Pull Harness with the fleece padded straps. Has anyone tried one of these & if so I'd love to hear what you think of them ? Thanks
