Dog boarding/walking-beware!
I had an op last week and the main thing on my mind was to have peppa safe and happy at whatever cost so I decided to give her to home boarding I checked few options and decided on a guy name Colin from "urban tails" in ladbroke-grove west London who I met in the park a while ago and has impressive site in the Internet full of warm recommendations. We met with the dogs agreed on all details: food, pick- up , money ,sleeping arrangements etc and he was supposed to pick her up from my neighbor the morning of my operation.
The night before I called to give him my neighbors contact no. And he disappeared from the face of earth he wouldn't take my calls or texts although my iPhone shows he got them and read them I begged him to reply as its getting late I'm due to have an op in 7:30 pm and have arranged nothing else for peppa if he can let me know what's going on but he never answered. Thank god I'm fine and peppa is fine and everything turned ok but that's the worst thing in my mind that can be done when you're already in trouble.
So anybody in west London beware Colin from "urban- tails." And my advise to everybody else is always to have a back up plan if you need that kind of services. I learned my lesson and I'm just so thankful I didn't actually left my peppa with somebody so irresponsible I'm scared even to think about it.

Re: Dog boarding/walking-beware!
If this is the way he treats potential clients, he won't be in business for very long, which by the sound of it, will be a good thing. It must have added a massive amount of stress to you at a very stressful time !
I'm glad you posted this as a warning to others so that they can be as careful as possible. It's easy for people to say you should have checked things out first but it sounds like you did !
Pleased that it worked out for you and Peppa in the end Lily and hope your feeling better after your op.

Thank you for sharing. I had similar concerns when looking for somewhere for Ledger last year, on recommendations off here I went for the national franchise of Barking mad a bit more pricey than some but well worth it

What a let down! Best she wasn't with someone so irresponsible anyway. Hope you are feeling better after the op.

Thanks everybody you know if it was a flight i would have cancelled but I had no option. I agreed with him on 30 pounds per day. Not the cheapest as peppa gets along with his golden retrievers I had other options but that seemed the best and I didn't want to worry about her I also was wary of putting her with another dominant bitch in case there will be trouble I gave it a lot of thought and Much did I know !
where do you think I should post it Kathy? Till today he never even apologized but the main thing is to warn other people.
I personally wouldn't leave peppa with a stranger just the thought of her in this looser hands makes me ill.
She's such a good girl she knows I'm still not well she never lives my side but she's so gentle with me and my mum which I was worried about. So so proud of her
