Beds! Empty Beds!

Post by Jodoll1 Tue Jun 03 2014, 20:50

Just wondering what is the best dog bed to get Butkus. We have been through so many as she just chews them to bits.

I come home about a week after she gets a new bed and its been shredded, shes a nightmare! Im sure she does it cause she thinks she will get to sleep with me.

Thanks in advance

Cheap and cheerful off the market then or retire your duvet for a new one and give yours in a cheap cover to Butkus

I have an old duvet and cover i could use i suppose, just thought a bed was more comfortable, obviously just better for chewing.

Rocky has a super king size bed that he allows us to share with him  Big Grin

He also has his own bed in the lounge

Rolo has a single duvet in his cage, currently covered in a Winnie the pooh cover Big Grin which has finally stopped mysteriously combusting when I'm out??? The only other thing that is in his bed is my old pink fluffy dressing gown.. the only thing he has never destroyed because he used to sneak upstairs and bring it down when I wasn't looking....Its now his Big Grin

Ledger much prefers making nests out of cheap duvet covers than curling up on the more expensive beds I bought when I rescued him

Beds! Empty Re: Beds!

Post by Bane Fri Jun 06 2014, 22:23

We bought Bane a cheap single duvet from Asda, about £6 I think! Occassionally he finds the opening to the cover and rips it to pieces...it is slowly shrinking so think we may have to replace soon and get a tougher cover for it Big Grin
We just fold it in half and half again and it is super thick and cushy Smile

If you know anyone with a costco card ask them to take you along. they have a good rectangle mattress style bed for £25. both mine fit on it and its the only bed they havent destroyed in under a month. the cover comes of for washing and it's very well made, only downside is its bloody huge.
